I am super excited to be returning to New Zealand later this month to present at the Green Property Summit!
The event should be a really interesting mix of people discussing different aspects of building performance. I’m going to be talking about the ways in which data is impacting architecture, not only in the design phase but also in the pre-design phase (before architects become involved) and in the occupancy phase (after architects have left the project).
The other speakers all have pretty interesting perspectives. In particular, I’m looking forward to Jeffrey Holmes’s talk about the SAHMRI Building. I saw the building while it was under construction in Adelaide and thought it looked amazing, but I didn’t know that there were all these other performative aspects to the project that were as equally as amazing as the building’s appearance.
The summit is being held on the 26th of March at the Crowne Plaza in Auckland. There will also be a series of master classes the following day (I’m going to talk about some of CASE’s latest research into indoor positioning and occupancy behaviour). Stop by and say hello!
